Slightly soluble in water, solubility increases with temperature; Difficult to dissolve in sulfuric acid; Easy to dissolve in organic solvents; Iodine is also easily soluble in chlorides and bromides; More soluble in iodide solution; Dissolvable metal iodides such as sulfur, selenium, ammonium, alkali metal iodides, aluminum, tin, titanium, etc.

Usage: Mainly used for manufacturing iodides, pesticides, feed additives, dyes, iodine wine, test strips, drugs, etc. Used for preparing equivalent solvents, measuring iodine value, calibrating the concentration of sodium thiosulfate solution, and the solution can be used as a toxic agent. Used in photographic plate making for the preparation of iodine agents and thinning liquids
